Kamikaze (Last Call #1) by Moira Rogers

Zoe Bennett is an inexperienced werewolf in the grip of her mating cycle. With no pack and no mate, Zoe must brave the supernatural crowds of Last Call, the bar where your drink order tells everyone what you need. Kamikaze: Werewolf in heat, looking for a temporary mate.

The chase is on, and security specialist Connor O’Malley intends to win, if only because the sweet young woman at the bar looks unprepared for what the night might bring, in and out of the bedroom. Little does he know that, when he catches her, he may not be satisfied being just a temporary mate.

Very cute and very short story. In all honesty, this is little more than a single sex scene…but it is a hot sex scene.

As a freebie, this was wonderful and I don’t have much to say. I loved the connection between the H/h.

As a short story, it’s pretty well developed. The author did not try to shove a lot of plot into this very short product.

As a “book,” it leaves a lot to be desired. The story is well written with interesting characters. I would love to know what happened to the two characters when they left the Last Call bar…and that desire for more info does leave a bit of a damper.
